Retail therapy is real!
I can be such a girl sometimes lol.
I got a new pair of jeans today (because two of my favorite pairs just ripped in the inner thigh :c), a sweater, and two pairs of new shoes. Yay sales/coupons!
But yeah… shopping and going out for lunch with my mom and grandma today definitely cheered me up.

Eating healthy is fun and everything...
but it’s sooo hard sitting here, stomach growling, while McKinley eats chicken tenders and fries. Why can’t healthy food fill me up so my stomach will stop constantly growling in pain? :(

I find it really sad when people post things about their sibling/roommate/whoever bringing home an instrument to practice and they say things about how it’s so awful and annoying and they need to stop.

Picking out a blanket set for my bedroom next semester is so hard. I don’t know about everyone else, but I can not begin to think about other decorations or anything at all until I find the set I want for my bed.

So today...
I signed the lease for my first apartment!
It’s a really nice place…
It’s pretty big (big enough for a student), each room has it’s own bathroom, there’s a little deck outside, bricks, exposed pipes, etc. I’m so excited!

Practicing the flute...
My proficiency is tomorrow evening. Pretty sure I’m going to fail it, but we can retake them soooo that’s most likely what will happen. Flute embouchure = stupid. Why can’t clarinet embouchure work for everything? :)

Ran into my first band director today.
He left to teach at another high school in my county after my freshman year. But yeah, he was at the WVU honor band concert tonight with some kids from his new school and I ran into him after the concert.

It was not meant to make fun of WVU school of music. It was not part of a serious lesson that was being taught, a student put it on the projector. Our music program here is very good and NOT a joke. Please stop saying hateful things.
